For this limited Art Edition of 75 copies, Schnabel has added an exhilarating new layer to one of his most monumental bodies of work, the Big Girl/Blind Girl series from 2001: transposing one of the paintings, Lido Blue, onto a triptych of skateboards. The surface of each work has been individually scuffed, scored and partially erased by the act of being ridden. The monograph was created in close collaboration with the artist and shows his work in all media – paintings, sculptures, films.
